Pride Grows In Brooklyn: 2022 Edition

In 2020, we began collaborating with Brooklyn Grange and several other queer NYC wedding vendors to offer mini ceremonies for queer couples during Pride Month. On the 50th anniversary of the Pride March—51 years after the Stonewall Riots, where our queer mothers Marsha P. Johnson and Silvia Riviera led the fight for LGBTQIA+ justice alongside so many others—we celebrated queer life and love with two special couples and their guests.

We’ve continued that tradition for the last several years. Karla and Daniela of Once Upon a Vow officiated ceremonies, and Judson Rappaport and Debbie Lemonte captured photos of the day. The Grange provided the perfect setting for three beautiful, sustainable weddings. Couples shared their love with intimate groups of friends and family, took photos on the rooftop, popped champagne, and danced together.
